POSTAGE & PACKAGING

Postage

Please note Luminary are taking a rest - orders placed between Wednesday 20th July 2022 until Sunday 14th August 2022 will not be shipped from 15th August 2022. Enjoy the summer and see you soon! 

We look to dispatch to on the same day of order, however, orders after 1pm may be dispatched the following morning.

If we are out of stock, we will let you know and this would usually cause a 2-7 day delay. Brexit and COVID 19 have had unprecedented impact on our suppliers and we do not compromise quality for speed of product. We will keep you updated in this event.

UK Postage: 1-2 days. We send via Royal Mail with tracking numbers and will require signature.

 International POSTAGE: 5-10 days. All orders are tracked and will require signature.

 There have been some delays beyond these times listed above due to COVID-19.

 We are not liable for packages where tracking status confirms items delivered.

If you do not receive your package within 5 business days (UK) or 15 days (internationally), please email your order number to info@luminary-skincare.com.

 

Packaging

All LUMINARY postage boxes and shredded paper is recyclable. So is the Sellotape!

LUMINARY use recyclable glass bottles and recyclable plastic closures.  We do not use any single waste plastic.

 

RETURNS POLICY

We are a small business and currently do not accept returns unless they are faulty. If this is the case, please email info@luminary-skincare.com within 7 days.

 

FAQs

Do you need to patch test?

Yes. You need to patch test on a clear area 72 days before you apply to your face.

 

Are your oils photosensitive?

Some essential oils degrade in sunlight and can damage your skin. This is why we select high quality dark glass packaging to avoid this happening. For all our day products, we do not use essential oils that are photosensitive.

 

Do you use any fragrance in your products?

No we only use essential oils which contain natural fragrance.

 

Can I incorporate the serum from another brand into the luminary regime?

The range is developed without needing a serum but of course!  If you wish to incorporate this, we would suggest using prior to a facial oil. But check with the company supplying the serum.

 

Is the product a sunscreen?

Although some of the carrier oils used have natural performance for sun protection, the Luminary products are not proven sunscreens and thus we recommend to follow with SPF.

 

Is the luminary range only for acne prone skin?

Although using a variety of oils which are suitable for acne prone skins, the LUMINARY range incorporates many oils that can are versatile for ALL skin types and helps with inflammation, acne, scarring, hyperpigmentation, dullness and anti-aging.
